How to play a presentation in PowerPoint

1. Open Microsoft PowerPoint.

2. In PowerPoint, click File > Open.

3. Browse to the CD-ROM drive and open the "powerpoint\english" folder.

4. Open the folder for the presentation you wish to view.

5. Open the PowerPoint (.ppt) file located in the folder.

6. Choose to view the slide show. (View > Slide Show).

7. Press the Page Down or Enter key to move from slide to slide.

8. Press the Escape key to exit the slide show at any time.

How to play a presentation in PowerPoint Viewer

1. If the Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer 97 is not installed on your computer, click here to install it.

2. Open PowerPoint Viewer. (To open it, click Start > Programs > Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer.)

3. In PowerPoint Viewer, browse to the CD-ROM drive and open the "powerpoint\english" folder.

4. Open the folder for the presentation you wish to view.

5. Open the PowerPoint (.ppt) file located in the folder.

6. Click Show.

7. Press the Page Down or Enter key to move from slide to slide.

8. Press the Escape key to exit the slide show at any time.

How to copy a presentation onto your computer

Watlow grants Watlow authorized sales representatives and distributors the right to copy PowerPoint presentations onto a computer hard disk.

1. On the Windows task bar, click Start > Programs > Windows Explorer .

2. Click the icon for your CD-ROM drive.

3. Double-click the "powerpoint" folder.

4. Copy the entire folder for the presentation that you want, and place it in the desired location on your computer. For example, to copy the English Power Series presentation, open the "powerpoint\english" folder and copy the entire "powerseries" folder.

5. Keep all of the files together in one folder. Otherwise, the presentation will not play properly.

Tips for navigating the PowerPoint presentations

Links

Some slides contain links. You can click a link to go to a slide that contains more information.

"Back" arrow used in Power Series PowerPoint presentationAfter you click a link, press the Page Down key to proceed through the slides until you reach a slide that has an arrow button at the bottom of the slide. Click the arrow button to return to the original slide that contained the link.

Oscilloscope video clips

Some slides show a picture of an oscilloscope. Click the picture to play a video clip. You can also click the picture to pause the video and to resume playing it.
