The Power Series has a 12-digit model number:

P C _ _ - _ _ _ _ - _ _ _ _

To build a model number, select from the options below.

Package style (2nd digit)

C = 65 to 250 Amperes

Phase (3rd digit)

Options Remarks
1 = Single phase Any single phase load.
2 = Three phase, two leg Stable resistive heaters (nichrome), delta connected or ungrounded-wye connected.
Note: Phase angle firing, current limiting, soft start, heater bakeout and shorted SCR detection are not available with this phase configuration.
3 = Three phase, three leg Any of the following types of loads:
Phase-angle firing into three-wire wye or delta connected heaters.
Transformer-connected loads.
Variable-resistance heaters.
Inside delta configuration.
4 = Three phase, four wire
Grounded wye.
8 = Two single-phase zones Two independently controlled single phase loads.
9 = Three single-phase zones Three independently controlled single phase loads.

Heater diagnostics (4th digit)

0 = None
1 = Heater diagnostics.

You must select heater diagnostics if you want these features:

Heater current or kVA monitoring.
Heater bakeout for MgO-insulated heater elements.
Current limiting for heaters such as molybdenum, silicon carbide, or carbon graphite.
Heater-monitoring alarms (heater open, heater out of tolerance, load balance).
Shorted SCR detection.
Retransmission of load-current data (also requires the retransmit option).

Output voltage rating (8th digit)

Choose an output voltage based upon the voltage required by the load.

Options Remarks
A = 24 to 120V
B = 200 to 480V Better resolution and calibration accuracy than option "C."
C = 200 to 600V Accommodates higher-voltage loads than option "B."
